Whatever Happened to Humans?

Posted by grizzlymedia on December 21, 2007

Have you ever been frustrated when you dialed a company’s 800 number only to spend what seemed like the rest of your life in endless voice mail purgatory? Well do I have a solution for you! Now there is GetHuman, a website that provides you with the inside scoop on a “direct to human” number that gets you immediately to a real, live human being rather than an endless nightmare of “press 7 for this, press 5 for that, press 4 for something else, press 2 so¬†your phone will explode and you will be out of your misery.” And what’s up with the ones that say, “If you are dialing from a rotary phone, please stay on the line and an operator will assist you?” Exactly who is dialing from a rotary phone these days? Where do they think you’re calling from, 1967? But I digress with my tirade against the evils of voice mail madness. Just bookmark GetHuman and give it a try the next time you have to call your favorite (or most hated!) company!
