Proof That Europeans Could Possibly Be Cooler Than We Are

Posted by grizzlymedia on February 29, 2008

When was the last time you saw a really cool American website advertising their products? Well, here is a just-for-fun website¬†from a company called Hema in the Netherlands. You can enjoy it for Leap Day today (or any day, for as long as it’s up!). The products on the website are set up after the manner of Rube Goldberg, an American cartoonist who received the 1948 Pulitzer prize. Goldberg was known for his Rube Goldberg machines, complex machines that performed simple tasks in ridiculous ways. Visit your library to read more about Rube or other artists and cartoonists!
