Blatant Bibliophiles Meeting Scheduled

The Grizzly Media Center’s Unquiet Library Reading Club, The Blatant Bibliophiles, will meet Tuesday, October 8, at 8:00 AM and 3:15 PM to discuss our plans for Teen Read Week. Current plans for Teen Read Week include a screening of the movie Surf’s Up during all lunches on Monday, an ice cream sundae bar on Tuesday for Blatant Bibliophiles and Live Poet club members, live entertainment during fourth lunch on Wednesday, trivia and refreshments on Thursday, and poetry reading on Friday with caramel apples and autumn spice cake.

Are you a Blatant Bibliophile?

Do you love books? Do you have difficulty stopping yourself from telling everyone about the books you read? Then you may be a Blatant Bibliophile. Some of the activities we are thinking of for this year are read-ins, club readings of specific books, posting book reviews on our book club blog, creating podcasts of book reviews, promoting Teen Read Week, hosting author visits to Creekview, holding media center fundraisers, and participating in writing activities. What are some of your ideas for Blatant Bibliophile activities? Did I mention food?

 Come join the Grizzly Media Center (aka the Unquiet Library) as we start our new Reading Club, the Blatant Bibliophiles.
