Web 2.0 Wow!

The Unquiet Library published its first edition of its Web 2.0 Wow newsletter. The newsletter is bursting with ideas and suggestions for using Web 2.0 technology for enhancing student achievement. Be sure to look for the next edition of the newsletter in about six weeks.

Trivia was a Trip!

The Unquiet Library’s first Trivia Day was a great success! Our next trivia day will be during Teen Read Week, on Thursday, October 25. Be sure to come by the Grizzly Media Center to sign up. Will Ricky Bobby, Skepsi Omada, and Team Kool win again, or will new victors emerge to steal their titles? Come by on October 25 to cheer on your favorite!

Do you love books? Do you have difficulty stopping yourself from telling everyone about the books you read? Then you may be a Blatant Bibliophile. Some of the activities we are thinking of for this year are read-ins, club readings of specific books, posting book reviews on our book club blog, creating podcasts of book reviews, promoting Teen Read Week, hosting author visits to Creekview, holding media center fundraisers, and participating in writing activities. What are some of your ideas for Blatant Bibliophile activities? Did I mention food?
